1.  Jam gadang

 

This is one of specific place of Bukittingi, Jam Gadang. Which is a landmark in the heart of the height, shaped like a big clock Big Ben, as well as a symbol for the city which is also located on the edge of a valley called Canyon Sianok. In here, you can take a rest and enjoy the air around you. Jam Gadang became the central of activity by tourism, because you can buy some unique  accessories, from Bukittinggi.

2.  Sianok Canyon

Sianok canyon valley is one of the main attractions. Panorama Park is located in the town of Bukittinggi allow tourists to see the beautiful canyon scenery Sianok.

a place that really makes your heart feel calm because filled with green trees and water flow underneath. Sianok canyon is a steep valley (ravine) located in the border town of Bukittinggi. Sianok Canyon has very beautiful scenery and also became one of the attractions are the mainstay province. Sianok Canyon  about 100 m, stretches along 15 km with a width of approximately 200 m , and is part of the fault that separates the island of Sumatra into two parts edges still found many rare plants such as Rafflesia and medicinal plants. You can find a beautiful scenery and feel the air is still cool,. Completely some green trees around you. Beside that, if you is a reader, you can read many books, because in there are libraries that are called by Pustaka Bung Hatta.

In addition to a few places above, there are many other places of interest. New, like Panorama, Janiah River Zoos, the fortress of fort de kock, Limpaoaeh bridge in the park there is a replica of the Bundo Kanduang Tower House that serves as a museum of Minangkabau culture, Bukittinggi Zoo and the Fort Fort de Kock is connected by a pedestrian bridge called the bridge Limpapeh. bridge over Limpapeh at street of Ahmad Yani which is main street in the city of Bukittinggi.

Beside that, if you dont know where do you want to take a rest, The government of Bukittinggi has develop their tourism sector is one of the mainstay for the town of Bukittinggi, the many interesting attractions, make this city dubbed as the "city tour". Currently in the town of Bukittinggi has been there about 60 hotels and 15 travel agencies. Hotels located in cities such as The Hills Bukittinggi (formerly Novotel), Hotel Pusako and so on.
